Situación

Site

The project is developed within an old industrial warehouse, characterized by its generous height and spatial amplitude. Located in an urban setting, the space benefits from soft, even light that filters in through its two façades, offering cross views of the city. The intervention stems from the desire to preserve the original essence of the place, respecting its industrial character and leveraging its spatial and lighting qualities.

Exteriors

Although this is an interior intervention, the treatment of the façades plays a key role: views towards the urban surroundings and the entry of natural light are enhanced, creating a permeable and luminous space. From the outside, the intervention does not alter the reading of the original volume but rather reinforces its sober and functional presence, in line with its former use as a workshop.

Interiors

The interior design seeks a balance between the generous scale of the industrial space and the comfort required for daily work. The main objective has been to create an environment that allows for working in a spacious and open area, without forgoing more intimate zones that respond to a human scale. Elements have been introduced to modulate sound, light, and temperature, with a clear spatial hierarchy that facilitates orientation and fluid use of the space.

The installations are left exposed, removing superfluous finishes and emphasizing industrial functionality. This logic is applied throughout the entire intervention, which embraces versatility and adaptability for future uses.

A suspended wooden topography shapes the entrance and reception area, warmly enveloping and guiding visitors. The showroom and agora space is conceived as a multipurpose area for meetings, presentations, or informal gatherings, also serving as a place to express the company’s values and trajectory.

Sustainability and Circular Economy

One of the key pillars of the project has been the reuse of materials. Components and elements previously stored by Frapont have been repurposed and integrated into the new space. This strategy not only minimizes environmental impact but also adds a narrative aligned with the company’s identity.

Energy efficiency is approached through passive design: controlling natural light, enabling cross ventilation, and using materials that contribute to the building’s thermal inertia, thus reducing dependence on active systems.
